One consideration with invisible orthodontic appliances is their cost. The ceramic brackets are pricier because the material used is more sensitive and meticulously manufactured. Bracket removal is likely especially when the patient bites on something hard. With metals, these can be re-cemented. In the case of ceramics, these need to be replaced as it won’t be as adherent as it was when it was initially cemented.

Being able to smile without the worry of fudge icing sticking on your front teeth equates to peace of mind on the part of the wearer.
