About the Company
Who doesn’t know about United Health Care Dental? It is probably the largest dental insurance company that has the widest dental coverage. It is under the supervision of UnitedHealth Group, the one and only health carrier and the largest in the United States. A whopping 80,000 dentists nationwide are available serving 70 million Americans. The reason behind their success is their dedication, consistency and improvement in the products and services that they offer. They have received numerous awards in the healthcare industry because of their continuous commitment to their promise – that is to provide affordable health care benefits and make sure that they improve the quality of the services they offer by doing research on medical/technical advancements. Reaching out to communities is one thing that made them famous. They have several projects such as UnitedHealth HEROES that help overweight or obese youth combat this condition and UnitedHealthCare Children’s Foundation that gives grants to chosen individuals who are not able to get or not covered by their health plan.
Dental Benefits and Plans
There are quite a few types of dental plans available under UnitedHealthcare. For individual and families, there two categories to choose from, UnitedHealthcare Dental Premier and UnitedHealthcare Dental Value. The major difference is whether your dentist is part of their network or not. Of course, if your chosen dentist is not on their list, then you would have to pay more. This is what the Premier offers.
